Stepping Stone’s Corporate Partnerships program is all about building genuine, mutually beneficial relationships with organisations that want to make a real difference for people living with mental ill-health. We work closely with each Partner to deliver shared value, aligning measurable social impact with your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG priorities.
We work alongside our partners to create opportunities that deliver meaningful impact—both for your organisation and for our members. Every partnership is tailored, so it aligns with your goals, your people, and what you want to achieve in the community.
Let’s work together to create something meaningful.
Why partner with us?
At Stepping Stone, we take the time to understand your organisation and design a partnership that fits—something that reflects your values, engages your team, and delivers real outcomes.
We’ve been part of the Brisbane community since 1994 and now support more than 4,000 members. Our work is built on the internationally recognised Clubhouse Model, where members and staff work side-by-side in the day-to-day running of the service.
Our impact is not just anecdotal—independent evaluation data demonstrates measurable outcomes, including:
Reduced hospitalisations and reliance on acute services
Increased social and community participation
Improved wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life
Stronger pathways to education and employment
Our team is approachable, creative, and committed to building partnerships that grow over time - not just one-off transactions.
When you partner with Stepping Stone, you’re not only supporting recovery, you’re also strengthening your brand, inspiring your staff, and contributing to a more inclusive community.
How you can get involved
There are lots of ways to partner with us:
Philanthropic Support
Make a long-term difference through a donation or multi-year commitment that helps us grow and reach more people.
Workplace Giving & Employee Engagement
Give your staff a simple, meaningful way to contribute, with opportunities to get involved beyond donations.
Corporate Fundraising
From morning teas to team challenges, fundraising is a fun way to bring your people together while supporting a great cause.
Gifts in Kind
Donate goods, services, or expertise that directly support our clubhouse and our members.
Employment Partnerships
This is where real impact happens. You can help create pathways into employment through our Transitional, Supported, and Independent Employment programs.
Our Transitional Employment model includes a unique guarantee—if a member can’t make a shift, we backfill it—so your business is never left short-staffed. For more information, see: Employment — Stepping Stone Clubhouse

Thank You Cisco!
Cisco Systems is a global technology leader in networking, security, and collaboration—helping organisations around the world stay connected and thrive. We’re proud to have Cisco as a long-term Corporate Partner, supporting our work with people living with mental ill-health for over two years.
How Cisco got involved
Cisco first connected with us through their Day to Give initiative, volunteering within our Work-Ordered Day. By working alongside our members and experiencing the clubhouse in action, the team saw first-hand the impact of our model.
What started as a volunteer experience has grown into a strong and ongoing partnership. Over the past two years, Cisco has continued to support Stepping Stone through their time, energy, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for our community.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Cisco team for their continued support and for being such an engaged and valued part of the Stepping Stone community.
“Spending a day at Stepping Stone was not exactly the experience I thought it would be. It was supposed to be a group of us CISCO people dropping in for a few hours doing a few odd jobs to help out. It was supposed to be ‘us’ helping ‘them’. Within the first 20 minutes of arriving, the ‘us’ and ‘them’ disappeared and it was done in a way that was inclusive and powerful. One of the members volunteered to manage the allocation of people against the day’s tasks. It completely relied on people putting their hand up to accept responsibility for each task. This ‘management’ style created a feeling of individual freedom while also creating a certain momentum of effort. I came away seeing a new way of doing things and a wonderful way of creating a team.” - Rob

The impact of our CISCO relationship has been huge! They have helped set up our brand-new Northside Clubhouse, contributing their time at working bees and through supporting the development of our online presence. CISCO have also linked us in with a number of their wonderful clients - helping drive the impact even further!
