E & E Unit

Employment and Education Unit

 Stepping Stone Clubhouse is a Disability Employment Service (DES) provider, funded by the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).  The E&E Unit assists members to identify and pursue employment or education options. We do this by assisting with: job search, resume preparation, job applications, interview preparation, transportation, education support, assignment/exam support, liaising with Centrelink and other government/non government organizations with and on behalf of our members.

Our day begins with a morning unit meeting in which people volunteer to work on unit tasks such as: Disability Employment Service administration paper trail, individual member support, coordinating the Transitional Employment program, job development, member employment plans, member outreach, congratulations cards and general administration/record keeping.
