About Us

Stepping Stone Clubhouse commenced in 1994 and was established by the Schizophrenia Fellowship of Queensland and is an Incorporated, Non-government, not for profit organization that is dedicated to assisting people with a mental illness.  We  are based on the Clubhouse International model www.iccd.org and has been certified by the Clubhouse International since 1997.

Our mission is to assist adults with a mental illness to develop the skills and confidence necessary to live satisfying and productive lives in the community.  This assistance is provided in a psychosocial program designed to empower and support its members.
