Stepping Stone is committed to help our members find decent and affordable accommodation. Currently the services we provide include:
- Help with applications for housing
- Advocacy for housing
- Networking with other housing organisations
- Support to maintain housing, including peer support, cleaning, budgeting, menu planning, shopping etc.
- Liaise with Housing Accommodation organisations to assist members to apply for housing
- Help members locate cheap furniture and household items
- Help members move into their homes
- Liaise with Queensland Housing
- Help members access bond loan

We also have a Housing Booklet that lists housing organisations that you can apply to for accommodation. You can get a copy of the booklet from Stepping Stone or find it online on the link provided. As the printing costs of this book are quite expensive, we ask you to cover these costs ($5 per copy) when requesting a hard copy to be sent to you. Please email us on housing@steppingstoneclubhouse.org.au if you would like a copy sent to you.
Support is individual, depending on one’s needs.
We have recently secured our own units for members. We are in the process of liaising with Queensland Housing and will keep you informed on our progress.
